Introduction

Firemaster Paper is a mix of Firemaster bulk and binder that is wet formed and then dried to produce a thin and flexible insulating material that is also non-combustible.

Firemaster paper is an excellent insulator and is suitable for any application that requires a thin layer of insulation. Suitable fire protection applications are typically gaskets to prevent heat transfer between components in a fire rated system.

Firemaster paper can be cut with a pair of scissors or alternatively be supplied as a self-adhesive strip for rapid application.

Health Aspects Summary

Firemaster 607 was designed for enhanced solubility in lung tissues. Rats have been exposed 6 hours a day, 5 days a week during 2 years at an average concentration of 200 F/ml (about 200 to 300 times higher than the concentration found in production plants) without showing any significant increase in lung tumours or fibrosis.
